The chapter questions will help you think about and apply what you are reading. I suggest you do them chapter-by-chapter, completing them right after you’ve finished reading the corresponding part of the book, so the ideas are fresh in your mind.
The leader guide provides ideas to help you facilitate small group discussion. It also contains suggestions for how to divide the book into a 6-week, 8-week, 12-week, or 22-week study. You can download and customize the plan that works best for your group.
We’ve provided downloadable lined or blank journal pages, as well as several downloadable worksheets and small group handouts, including 25 Beauty Questions, a Personal Hedges Worksheet, and 20 Questions to evaluate whether you’re a Girl Gone Wild or a Girl Gone Wise.
There are short book blog videos to accompany each chapter of the Girls Gone Wise book. I suggest you watch the corresponding video before you read each chapter. The video will give you a great overview of the concepts in the chapter and will help you remember and apply what you read. You can watch these videos as you read the book, or watch them with your small group to help facilitate group discussion. They are each about 10 minutes in length.
Below, you can watch a few of the videos that are included with the Girls Gone Wise DVD:
